Like you and me, only better

Tennessee Republicans made sure law enforcement was exempted from the new distracted driving law

I regularly see local police cruising around and looking at laptops. This doesn’t strike me as a good idea.

    “But they neeeeeed to”.

No, Comrade, they don’t “neeeeeed” to.

If it’s really dangerous, it’s dangerous when cops do it.

The real tragedy is that they apparently have some really good texting-while-driving training at TLETA, but they’re not making that part of drivers ed so everyone can be safer.

That’s *got* to be the reason its safe for cops but not us plebes, right? Because of some kind of foolproof training?

It’s all part of this crazy worship of the Thin Blue Line. Y’all know cops are human too, right? Fuckups and all?

  4. The Freeholder Says:

I believe the term you are looking for is “Only Ones”….

  5. Deaf Says:

So…. some scam artist could see a cop on that laptop driving and get right in front of him and slam on the brakes… Then sue the city! Interesting.

Everyone knows onlies are superior gun-handlers right?

It’s like that with tech and driving too.

Face it, they’re better than you at everything.

Makes you wonder how all cops ain’t leftists.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
