Yes

Be a rooftop Korean. Or at least be prepared to be.

    Ah, the ’90s.

Hmm. In the linked video there was a journalist who actually knew the difference between a “regular rifle” and a shotgun. I guess they have to take special classes now, to un-learn any of that stuff.

I was in Lib Angeles for the Rodney King riots too. Alpha Company, 1/184 Infantry. We arrived on the night of the second day. We could see fires and hear gunfire and one the guys in my squad remarked; “Holy shit! is this LA or Beirut?”

We didn’t meet any of the Koreans, but heard a lot about them. All pretty impressive stuff. I heard a LAPD Cop remark that he sure wouldn’t want to mess with any of them.

I have never read a report stating that the 1990’s RKs ever did more than brandish their firearms and fire warning shots to keep looters at bay.

Were there any documented victims of RK firearm use?Wikipedia notes exchange of gunfire between RKs and rioters, but not any gunshot victims on either side.

I think RKs behaved quite well, considering they could have killed any number of visible rioters but instead chose to protect their property and lives using a minimum of necessary force.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
