That looks frightening

Don’t you hate when you’re shooting your SAW, your pistol grip breaks, and you almost SAW something you didn’t want to?

    Holy shit!

    Yup. Shit ‘app’ns.

What’s the name of that YouTube channel, “Anythingbutrealtime”?

I always taught soldiers using any of the light machine guns that the only thing the trigger group does, is make it stop firing… classic runaway gun and a damn lucky grunt.

The pin that holds the rear of the trigger group assembly to the receiver, and also connects the bottom of the buttstock to the receiver as well, is actually only kept in place by a “hair pin” wire clip, that is itself only held in by a sheet metal retainer.

That little clip falls out, and the pin is only held in by friction, and there’s just not a whole lot of that.

A M249 bouncing around provides more than enough energy to make an uncaptured pin just walk right out, and what you see it what you get.

Yes, very lucky pair of Soldiers there.

    Freakin Belgian weapons

Those things suck to run but when they run! Only issue that bugged me with the 249 was the safety. Every time I have seen new guys with that weapon I have seen someone try to ride home the bolt with one hand while pressing the safety.

What’s wrong with that? Twice I have seen ADs with the safety “on” , bolt forward, weapon on the ground with no finger on the trigger.

Open bolt weapon is safe with belt laid, racked to rear, and safety ON. Or just unload it.

That looked like it fired 3 rounds after it was well away from the guys trigger finger.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
