About that gun owner database we don’t have

The GAO says the ATF is hoarding gun owners personal information. This is likely illegal:

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the go-to federal oversight agency, conducted an audit of ATF and found it does not remove certain identifiable information, despite the law explicitly mandating it do so. GAO conducted reviews for four data systems, and concluded at least two of ATFs systems violated official protocols.

Illegal? Pffft. Name the article of the constitution that isn’t being violated, at this very second, by our “leaders”. Name one! The rule of law is dead.

The manufactures and gun stores need to do something about this…what’s that you say? I think I’ll just take ALL of my business private.

Anybody got a good rifle for sale? No dealers need reply!

I wish I could say I was shocked

Excuse me while I don’t hold my breath waiting for anything to change as a result of this.

Perhaps Pres. Trump will abolish the ATF. Win-Win.

Completely on another subject of interest to many, is anyone else having problems getting to Joe Huffman’s blog, as seen under the Gun Right’s list on the right side your screen?

I’m getting no DNS resolution, but it’s not being squatted on by some domain hostage taker, so I’m suspecting that the DNS server for joehuffman.org is down and has been for some time, long enough for caches to expire. Boomershoot.org is also not resolvable.

Trump will abolish the BATFE, in your dreams.

I’m sort of hoping he’ll be elected for one reason; so all the Trump voters will finally realize that he’s a big time Progressive. Like FDR though, he’ll act as a nationalist Progressive as opposed to the global Progressives we now have in all the major positions in government. They’ll fight like dogs over their differences, but at the end of the day, government reach and power will grow, all at our expense, and the constitution will continue its fade into irrelevance.

@Tirno, Joe is up and running, comes up on my browser fine.

Lyle@11:23 – Your right. Only a fool would vote for Trump. I guess you want us all to vote for Hitlery. That’ll show all those Trump voters.

@tirno, I just noticed the DNS problem from my motel Wi-Fi in Las Vegas. AT&T tethering works though. Comcast from Bellevue, WA (even after flushing the DNS cache) works just fine.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
