The snark goes dark
Tam has hung up the blog. Apparently due to some stalker type. I can understand not wanting to deal with the internet bullshit. Trust me. I’ve almost quit a lot. But, I eventually come back. Any more, for me, blogging is getting tedious to an extent but I still like it. Once I stop liking it, I’m out.
But back to Tam, I’ll miss her blog and I hope she comes back. But I can’t lure her back out with just a Wookiee Suit. It may require Wookiee Sushi*:

That’s really sad, though I did think it was a huge mistake when she started posting more and more of that local stuff, especially the pictures of her excursions around town or places she liked to go. Bad news. But then again, if you can’t post about what you want then what’s the point? Her blog will be missed.

Mirror the blog, use Disqus for comments ( and save IP addresses ) and have some non-involved party vet them for her?
If we can get an IP address, we can figure out who this tard is, and make things miserable.

Wowzers!! Stalking a heavily-armed female pistol expert is not good for the stalker’s health. I sure wouldn’t want to confront either Tam or Bobbie X either separately or together. My body is just fine in its current un-ventilated condition.

He’s a classic delusional schizophrenic. He needs to take his meds, and if he doesn’t, he needs to be committed, and his firearm collection seized.

Long-time reader of Tam’s, who is (no offense, Uncle) the best gunblogger on the planet.
I’m sure she’s working on the at every appropriate level, but if outside support would be helpful (ie, polite calls to the guy’s local PD or the like), a lot of people would be down. I’m sure Tam would want to keep any folks involved in the planning limited to those very close to her, but if there is any way public pressure would be helpful, please ask Tam to let us know.

I don’t Facebook, but I did comment pretty regularly at Tam’s blog, and found her writing style, topics, and expertise wonderful.
