On Target

It’s essentially a placating non-event:

Later yesterday afternoon, a spokesperson for Target clarified the statement put out by Mulligan saying, “It is not a ban,” she said. “There is no prohibition.” In other words, nothing changes.

And, also, not seen a lot of calls for a boycott on them either.

How many people does it take to make a Boycott? If it’s only one, then I already joined.

Besides, I can get it cheaper at Wally World 95% of the time.

  2. Chris Says:

    I never, ever go there.

After Target ejected the Salvation Army a few years ago, I haven’t been back.

  3. Paul Kisling Says:

It is because they are like a K-Mart that just won’t die….

  4. Beaumont Says:

I agree w/Chris. The Salvation Army incident was the last straw for me. As for Wallyworld, they are not our friends either. It’s rare for me to buy anything there.

  5. CaptDMO Says:

Is my avoiding irrationally designated “gun free zones” considered a boycott, even if I have no “need” to patronize, or visit, them anyway?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
