Surely you don’t watch an action movie — particularly one with those stars — for the exquisite scripting, deep characterization, and subtle nuances of human interplay?

Judge ’em on combat scenes, explosions, and body count. That way you’ll never be disappointed.

It was exactly what it advertised itself to be – a (second) last hurrah of some of Hollywood’s great, and aging, action stars, doing what they do best.

I can live with that.
