    Darwin Award candidates.

And he shows up in the comments with more fail.

    What a clown.

  3. True Blue Sam aka David Johnson Says:

I can replace a camera; I can’t spare my bod. Just set up your tripod out of the bullet splash a bit, and everybody’s fine.

  4. Seerak Says:

I’m with Ellen. Let Darwin take care of it.

Past a certain point you have to leave a person be to take risks by his own judgement – much like we do when deciding when or if to own and use guns. Focus your efforts on others, particularly the young and noobs, who stand to be misled by bad or stupid behavior.

  5. Les Jones Says:

Do they rilly offer to sell you the photos afterward – like pictures of people whooping it up on the rollercoaster? SRSLY? I’d hate to be the guy whose trophy picture was a killshot of the photographer.

There is no shortage of idiocy these days, even in the gun community. There’s this odd obsession with being macho and ballsy, with this idiotic argument that somehow ignoring risks in training shows how competent you are. It’s more about ego than it is about providing a valuable training experience. There’s nothing to be gained by having someone taking such a risk. It’s akin to having a photographer taking pictures of a NASCAR race by standing in the middle of the track. Just plain stupid.

He could at least get his little dick-beaters dirty picking up those shotgun shells off the deck so that when a student finally does air him out it’ll be through sheer incompetence rather than stepping on a 12ga hull with his 5.11 clownshoes and slipping.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
