   I remember a guy using one here locally to rob a convenience store in the 70s!

   I saw a Rem XP-100 in a gun store once, and even got to fondle it (slow day, I guess). It was chambered in something ridiculous like .45-70, a real thumpenboomer.

   Looked like it came right out of Star Wars, though.
