Testing pepper sprays

Only a true friend lets you pepper spray them for science. I have been pepper sprayed. More accurately, I pepper sprayed myself. And it sucks. But, having done that, I’m fairly confident I can still react fairly well if sprayed again since I know what to expect.

Uncle, you got hit with the wrong stuff. While an MP in the Marine Corps, we trained annually with this stuff http://www.defense-technology.com/products.aspx?pid=5039 . To me personally, it its worse every time. I know MANY Marines who have stated they would rather be shot than sprayed with this again. No doubt the worst pain of my life, and it is VERY hard to function otherwise. We still did function, but it was far from efficient. Do a youtube search for “Marines OC” to see what I mean, and for some laughs!

Yeah, um. NO! I’ve been sprayed many times, and it sucks each time. Yes, I know what to expect and it still feels like lasers are carving out my eyes. I’ve got about 2 seconds from the time I get blasted until I’m basically blind. Getting a little misting from some consumer grade stuff is nothing like taking a direct blast to the eyes from the real deal (Fox, or Sabre).

Me, I’d rather take a taser hit than 2 seconds of OC. The taser is over in less than 5 seconds, the OC last for up to 30 minutes.

Where’s that “Rick Sanchez gets Tasered while Anderson Cooper laughs” clip?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
