The real story

Obama was asked tough questions by foreign press. Our press reports on the fact he was asked hard hitting questions.  Like they are perplexed by what those are.

They are shocked by this.

  1. Phelps Says:

I don’t think they even get to that level. I think they are trying to figure out why the Obama campaign fed those questions to the foreign press.

  2. Reno Sepulveda Says:

Yet another example of a Mexican doing a job Americans are unwilling to do.

  3. mikee Says:

The DOJ report just came out on Fast and Furious. Oddly enough, the Mexican press saw it as a whitewash and dared ask the President about it. Our press were dumbfounded about how that works – a current event of enormous political importance, why would anyone ask a Presidential candidate something that makes the Democrat look bad?

And he looked like he wished he’d made a trip to the bathroom before the interview started.

  5. NotClauswitz Says:

And what kind of “Smart Diplomacy” is it to flat-out LIE repeatedly to “the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the country”?

  6. Mike Says:

    Sounds about right…

Didn’t Chris Matthews say that, as of January 20, 2009, it was the patriotic duty of the American press to fellate the President? Or is that just what it looks like to the unenlightened masses?

  7. Geodkyt Says:

Reno, your Intarwebz are in the mail.

  8. Kristophr Says:

    It wasn’t foreign.

That network is run by Miami Cuban-Americans.

Obama’s staff screwed up plenty hard letting him talk to them.

All very amusing. I’ll bet they thought they were going to get entitlement-whore softball questions.

  9. Windy Wilson Says:

Geodkyt is right. Reno Sepulveda for the Win!
Four years of kneepads leaves its influence on the “journalists”.
This is actually another reason to vote for Romney. Who more than anyone else should get back to work but the journalists of the “fourth estate”, and they will only get back to work if there is a Republican in the White House.

  10. Standard Mischief Says:

Here’s a pretty good summery of the video

here’s another story that totally forgets to mention “fast and furious”

  11. Ron W Says:

Fast and Furious is a scandal of much greater magnitude than Watergate. It was providing weapons to foreign criminals and drug cartels while they were allowed to invade and kill at least one Border Patrol agent and no telling how many others. According to an obejctive reading of the Constitution, Article III, Section 3; giving aid and comfort to enemies of he States which is defined as treason.

  12. Tam Says:

    Reno,

Yet another example of a Mexican doing a job Americans are unwilling to do.

I would give my right arm to have typed that.

  13. cal Says:

Univision is a Spanish-language US network, not a foreign network.

  14. Geodkyt Says:

Annnnd, the Mexicans picking produce in my county are doing so on US farms.

    Your point, Cal?

  15. Slam Says:

His point is that they are Spanish-speaking Americans, not Mexicans.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
