In big government news

Chattanooga Doesn’t Trust Adults to Peddle You Across a Bridge in Enormous Tricycles. Seems the city regulated a pedicab company right out of business. You didn’t build that . . .

Paul Ryan, way to show your small government credibility by having TSA agents do security at your event.

Are TSA doing sec theater on Biden’s or Romney’s events? What about Dear Reader? Though I can see him wanting to ensure he’s got real security.

I wonder who decided that the TSA should do checks for Ryan, and how many other events they’re doing.

I can see the feds telling Ryan that he’s got no say in the matter. Saddly, I can also see Ryan himself asking for the TSA.

Grammar Nazi here. I believe the word Reason was looking for is “pedal.” I wouldn’t trust someone to sell me across a bridge on an enormous tricycle either.

    Layers of editorial oversight….

  3. ParatrooperJJ Says:

Ryan doesn’t get a say in the matter.

  4. Nylarthotep Says:

I think ParatrooperJJ is correct. Secret service was there and they are in charge of the security. I doubt Ryan had any knowledge or choice of their participation.

Though if I were him I’d make a stink about it. Your really going to entrust my security to people who can’t keep weapons off of planes? Really?

  5. ATLien Says:

I’m with Nylar and Para. He doesn’t have a choice, and he should turn it on them.

  6. Paul Says:

Right. It’s the SS doing this, not Ryan.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
