Do not try to catch a dropped gun

Or use a holster? Not sure. Definitely the latter, maybe the former.

I did sort of catch a dropped gun, although I grabbed my gun and clamped it to the competiition holster as I fell, backwards. Competiition holsters are just a rail and don’t enclose the gun. The RO said, “you’re good, just hang onto it until you can reholster.” All those years of never spilling a beer when falling-down drunk finally paid off! Story still sounds fishy, guns generally don’t go off when dropped. If it hit the floor wouldn’t the shot have hit him in the foot? I’d guess it was just in a hip pocket, no holster and he somehow pulled the trigger.

    Stop touching it!

Letting it drop would have saved his ass.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
