Yeah, with the 250, I don’t think the interchangability is a big selling point. I bought one (9mm) not even knowing of that feature. I bought it because the price was right $350 (out the door), and it was a Sig. I thought I would let my wife try it, and if she didn’t like it, I could get my money back out of it at that price.

Turns out she loves it and shoots it well. We have about 500 rounds through it, HP and FMJ, and no malfs to this point that I can recall.

    I have a P250 .40 subcompact.

I wanted a small, DAO .40 that fit my hand – and the sig was the only one that felt right. I like it and I shoot it well.

There are two downsides to this pistol. The first is that the trigger reset is long, this bothers some people but it is not a factor for me. The second is that some of the early guns had reliability problems, but this seems to have been worked out now. Mine had FTF issues at first, but after two(!) trips back to the factory, it’s now perfect. I’ve put enough rounds through it, without incident, that I trust it as well as I trust any of my pistols.

At some point I’m going to get a 9mm midsized conversion and make myself a nice frankenstien with a tiny subcompact grip and a long compact slide. It’ll be nice to order these parts directly and not have to go through an FFL.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
