Romney flubs on guns

Romney has a secret breakfast the Bloomberg. One of the topics is gun control.

And his court adviser is Mr. Collective right Robert Bork.

    This is my shocked face.

And with there being noises now that Gun Hating Chris Christie might be “persuaded” to be the veep candidate, I don’t see the next 4-8 years being very good for us.

As we’ve seen in the TN legislature the last two years, Republicans are good on guns…until they get control of government. Then, when they don’t have anything to prove, they forget the ones that brung em to the dance. As one prominent TN Republican said, “It’s not like you’re going to suddenly start voting Democrat.”

And who wants to lay odds Romney will get an endorsement from a certain three letter acronym-ed organization we’re members of?

  3. Alan Says:

Obama has a better record on guns than Romney.

  4. Cargosquid Says:

    Alan,
You are absolutely right! BEST SALESMAN OF THE YEAR!

  5. Bubblehead Les Says:

Once a RINO, always a RINO.

Wiz quoted – As one prominent TN Republican said, “It’s not like you’re going to suddenly start voting Democrat.”

Watch me, O Prominent One…. ABO, and #NoRinoInTN

How many dead Mexicans would it take before a President Romney stopped ATF from running guns to the cartels? More or fewer than the current president?

I think Romney might pick up a few percentage points of immigrant votes if he pointed this out.

  8. Rivrdog Says:

Alan, do you think we’ll see an Obama ad pointing out your observation? If we do, the NRA will have to spend a princely sum countering THAT.

What we need is a third-party candidate running on a 2A ticket: Scrap all the NFA, all the way back to ’34, institute immediate Constitutional Carry nationally, tell the UN to piss up a rope, and encode Stand Your Ground into Federal law.

OK, time to put down that smokin’ bowl…

If more citizens of Mexico were able to obtain & bear arms the drug thugs & narco-state government police would be overthrown. Too many honest, hard working Mexicans are victims of cartel machinations with their corrupted police lackies.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
