High Tower Armory 90/22

Make your 10/22 look like an FN P90:

If you have a 16 inch barrel 10/22, you can’t use it without registering it as a short barreled rifle.

You can get them here.

Looks Good, but I’m not sure about that side ejection. Looks like it can bounce emptys straight into one’s elbow. Also, I wonder if FN will put out a “Cease and Desist” Lawsuit for Patent Infringement. And can it work with a .22 Magnum?

Would like to see a Video, though. : )

  2. The Comedian Says:

It would be an NFA item if assembled with an under 16″ barrel, but not an SBR, since it would have a barrel that is long enough.

It would be a “weapon made from a rifle” since its OAL would be under 26″.

Made one myself a couple years ago: http://www.paintballcity.org/bryan/Dsc_4544.jpg

Its not all that hard to do with an airsoft body and some time. I like the cartridge storage option they have on that one through.

And empties eject and clear your arm fine, unless you shoot with some sort of extreme tactical chicken wing technique.

    On the nfa side…

In the one I have above, the 10/22 receiver sits right against the stock plate, and the OAL is fine. IIRC, its 26.5″, just like the P90S

  5. The Comedian Says:

    Bryan S.,

You probably have an 18″ barrel on your 10/22.

    From the linked-to website:

IMPORTANT: PLEASE CHECK THAT YOUR RUGER 10/22 BARREL IS AT LEAST 18” IN LENGTH. MOST 10/22 barrels are long enough to produce a legal length rifle in the 90/22 stock system.

The HTA 90/22 requires a minimum barrel length of 18″ to achieve the 26″ overall length.

    That’s down right cute.

I handled one of the real ones the other day…I must admit…they make you want to run right at the target you are shooting at.

I am intrigued by this possiblity. I wonder if they have the same heft and feel of the authentic?

  8. Cargosquid Says:

Red Jacket just used one of these in a “anti-zombie” rifle contest.

It was winning vs the AR until the boss used a flare launcher mounted underneath the AR. And, of course, they called it a grenade launcher.

  9. Ryan Says:

That would be sweet if you could use one of the Tactical Solutions SBX barrels:

Extended long enough to not be an SBR but can put a suppressor on and not extend it.

As always with a bullpup design the big question is how does the trigger feel? I’ve tried a couple of bullpups for the 10-22 and the trigger was “less than optimum” in all of them. For that price I have a faint hope the trigger might possibly be decent. Not great, not good, all I’m asking for is decent.

Very interesting. Hey do you think the NRA is serious about defending gun rights?

Do you ever wonder why they don’t defend rappers or wide receivers, nba players who get caught with guns?

if we don’t defend everyone what’s the point?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
