Compelled to buy

If the .gov can force you to buy health insurance, can it force you to buy a cell phone?

Hell, BUY a phone? Why bother? In Illinois, if you are on any kind of government aid, you can get a free cell phone with up to 200 free minutes per month!

All you have to do is qualify for food stamps/LINK, or subsidized housing, or whatever. I think I’ll quit my job and let all the fat, rich republicans pay my way.

Now, if the Gooberment FORCED me to have a 100% Subsidized Full Auto M-16 for my Militia Duties, well then , maybe….

I was gonna say, “track phone” anyone?

  4. Jeffersonian Says:

The now ubiquitous ownership of cell phones has lessoned the call for implantable tracking chips. So you have that going for you. Which is nice.

  5. HL Says:

Why can’t it force you to buy a Chevy Volt…or an abortion (but I repeat myself).

  6. wizardpc Says:

As chiefjaybob points out, the government already forces me to buy a cell phone.

Just not my cell phone. I’m forced to buy one for someone else.

  7. mariner Says:

Sure it can. Government needs to know where you are and what you’re doing at all times.

You’d better not unplug your telescreens either!

what about a plot at the local burial place (see what i did there, since i didn’t know who to spell one word, i used two or three in it’s place.)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
