The face hit the palm when I read “Cold Pyton.” At first I thought it was a joke, then I realized all of the other names were spelled correctly.

“Piton” is how it’s pronounced in Russian. From the inclusion of rubber-shooters like Esaul, I suspect the author isn’t a native English speaker.

It must be in Euro-beta. A is for ARmalite. B for St. John Moses Browning PBUH. D is for Detonics…? Ok fight over that. I is for Ithaca, but Ingram is ok. Definitely W for Winchester.

Gunbloggers, it appears that the gauntlet has been thrown down….
Your mission (should you choose to accept it as such) will be to come up with The Firearm Alphabet of your own choosing, with each letter to be represented by an appropriate gun, PREFERABLY one which with you have shooting experience.
Submissions should be made to any and all willing Gunnie Weblogs no later than Thursday, March 1st, 2012.
If nothing else, it will make for interesting discussion over suitable alcoholic libations after a good recoil therapy session!
Personally, I firmly believe that the letter “S” should be represented by the Sharps falling block rifle. (but that’s just my opinion.)
