If only the Canton, Ohio P.D. would do the same.

Washington now honors TN permits, but in New York City they’ll still just shoot your ass for having a gun. And Bloomberg’s Manhattanites still like to call themselves “progressives”.

What, I don’t count? If I was a girl we might have a problem.

I’m sure if you visited western Washington, I could be prevailed upon to provide you with a beer in the non-bar part of an establishment, while we’re both concealing a high powered armor piercing machine gun death sprayer semi automatic pistol with shoulder thing that goes up.

You know, if you were so inclined.

I’ve got a mad on for the WA AG’s office.

AK’s permit issuance requirements exceed theirs in every way, always have, and yet they refuse to grant reciprocity.

Their website says “AK doesn’t require a permit”, which is true as far as it goes, but puerile considering we have a permit available just for reciprocity.

When I talk to our DPS people they say WA claims the problem is that we don’t have to turn in our permits in person so LE can “look us over”. Since rejection due to a “look over” isn’t actually allowed under WA’s “shall-issue” law (AFAIK), and we actually do have to turn in our applications in person at a State Troopers office, that’s a false reason too.

Anyway, WA has been refusing reciprocity since we’ve had permits. Which is BS considering most of us have travel through there frequently.

Let us know when you’re dropping by…

@Matthew: I’m guessing the fact that WA is also shall-issue for out-of-staters, albeit they have to apply in person, is no consolation.
(Seattle PD actually used to process them by mail, though.)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
