When I grew up, terrorists used to be leftists. And for reasons unknown, Lutheran pastor’s daughter was the most prominent heritage. Things change quickly.

DHS could raise money to help with the debt by selling “Certified Domestic Terrorist” certificates. Nice fancy ones, suitable for framing, with a gold DHS seal on them, should be able to fetch $25 plus shipping if they include a photo of a scowling Janet Napolitano pointing an accusatory finger. They could sell t-shirts too. I’d like one that says, “DOMESTIC EXTREMIST” on it. Maybe have a cool, domestic extremist logo on it, like a skull with a dagger clenched in its teeth, and crossed AR’s with flames coming out of the muzzles. They should be able to get a good price for the t-shirts with them being official DHS merchandise.
Oh, that’s right, the government isn’t trying to raise money to help America, instead they’re trying to tax, borrow and spend us into bankruptcy, economic collapse and oblivion, while hating us and calling us terrorists along the way. Oh, well, forget it. I’ll just have to get a terrorist t-shirt from the private sector. I’m a terrorist, you’re a terrorist, we’re all terrorists, and we’ve got the t-shirts to prove it!

Funny. Dept. of Homeland Insecurity Tzarina Napolitano just had a news conference yesterday whining about the “Lone Wolf Terrorist”. She kept referring to that Psycho in Norway on “how hard it is to stop someone like that”. I expect to see some more attempts at Gun Control to come from that branch of the Gov’t to stop those “Lone Wolf Terrorists” and their Mini-14’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction” (HER WORDS, not mine) soon.

So “Terrorist” is still a Valid word. It just means You and Me.

Shortly after 9/11 and the anthrax attacks, our (enormous unnamed corporation) workplace enacted two new security protocols, one for attacks by airplanes and one for unknown white powders.

The white powder one died a quick death after a week of alarmed secretaries alerting security personnel to spilled Sweet & Low near coffee makers.

The Air Alert was used only once, to my knowledge. When a single engine plane was circling over our factory one day, about 6 security guys hustled out the front door and ran up to the roof. What they did there, or what good it did, is unknown. The plane was apparently attracted by the large logo our company had painted on large, flat, white roof.

Security theater. And now we are all Spartacus…. I mean, we are all terrorists, at least in the eyes of the security forces.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
