Nudists v. Shooting range

Via John, a nudist camp doesn’t want a shooting range opening up next to it, citing noise and pollution. This is why suppressors shouldn’t be so stringently regulated and taxed so heavily. Then, you don’t annoy your neighbors.

Suppress your guns, it’s the neighborly thing to do.

Speaking of, potential movement on the WA suppressor bill.

While mufflers should be free to use, I am sure lots of us would not want their use mandated in any weay (except at the range owner level)

I am not sure that argument is the best way to proceed… but I am also not sure anything else has a chance of working either.

Dear Diary. Today I read a story about guns and nudist camps. I’m happy that the story was not about concealed carry, but a little dismayed at the use of the term “muffler”.

    Alternate headline:

I’ll put on a silencer if you dirty hippies will put on a shirt!

  4. Barron Barnett Says:

The Washington Suppressor bill was voted on today. It passed 88-4.

  5. Barron Barnett Says:

Note the vote was in the house, it’s now moving to the senate.

  6. Jennifer Says:

Maybe the shooting range could let them have a regular event. Can’t get hot brass caught in your bra if you aren’t wearing one.

  7. Chas Says:

Nudists complaining about noise from a target range? One would expect people so dependent on tolerance to be more tolerant themselves.

  8. Ian Argent Says:

At least they didn’t move in and start complaining about the existing range…

I imagine they’d complain about a dirt-car track opening up next to them as well. Or a rock-climbing wall…

  9. gb Says:

The only time I was ever at a nudist camp I had to leave due to eye pollution. People who looked like that should be cited by the EPA and fined heavily.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
