In Cairo, the army informs people anyone with an illegal weapon should not worry and should use it.

During unrest in Katrina, the local government took legal weapons from people.

Thank God we have that Bill of Rights thingy………

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… When the rubber hits the road, our rights are nothing more then an illusion.

I think that Cairo is probably safer than New Orleans.

    Probably not as fun, though.

The military are reportedly also collecting bodies of deceased thieves from the ad-hoc neighborhood watches, no questions asked.

Army versus the Police. Course corruption and New Orleans Police have been standards for some time.

Eygptian army is consider to be the best in Eygpt. Hope when we break down we can handle it the same way.

Long as the Muslim brotherhood does not end up running the country we could be good.

You meant the Arab mideast, right?

I think The Egyption Army, being the only army in Egypt, would win the “best” category rather easily.

As for who ends up running the country, it will either be the army, or it will be the majority … which means the Muslim Brotherhood.

I just wonder what special brand of stupid has convinced Mubarak that NOT fleeing is a good idea.

When the rubber meets the road, the only rights we have are the ones we will be able to successfully defend with deadly force.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
