Most of the commentators failed to grasp that this army is an army of snipers or marksmen at the very least. It would make bosnia look like a paid vacation….

Marksman perhaps since it’s the lowest level of military shooting. But Expert might be pushing it and definitely not trained sniper. A lot of hunters don’t shoot more than a box or two of ammo per year. It’s pretty hard to develop and maintain a high level of prowess with that little regular training.

A sniper by original definition was merely an accurate marksmen… It is almost impossible for a civilian to become a trained sniper regardless of how many boxes of ammo they shoot. Those who stalk deer on the ground are more closely aligned with snipers.

And some of the grizzled old hunters who have bagged several hundred deer over their lifetime could shoot the ears off a bobcat at 200 yards while smoking a cigarette

I recommend to my hunter education students to always carry a whistle for signaling since it won’t run out of ammo.

John Smith – As a side note there are sniper training schools that are open to civilians that are as good as or better then the miliraty schools.

I kind of doubt you can get the hands on military approach to sniping in any place but the military. Not a lot of other jobs allow you to kill people with a rifle.

  8. Robert Says:

I’m always encouraging my fellow patriots to come kill a large animal with me, field-dress, skin and butcher it. Gets you in touch with elemental forces.
Jim Cirillo, the famous NY policeman who was in more gunfights than any other modern shooter said he picked men for his team on three criteria: 1. Do they shoot competition? 2. Do they reload? 3. Have they hunted and killed large game? He said he never missed on a guy who had done all three.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
