Passed gall stones 20+ years ago, have much empathy. If they offer you Morphine, take it. Helps a lot, and one of the few legal times you can get an opiate into your system. Really changed my attitude towards those poor bastards who get hooked on Heroin, since I now understand what the thrill of the stuff is and why people want it all the time. One of those “Walk a mile in my shoes” moments.
Best thing I found for kidney stones was some leftover badass antiinflammatory I had in the junk drawer. If that’s what it is, see if you can get some. I can’t remember what mine was, but any should do. Yeah, those opiates; I grew up taking codeine cough syrup as a child. Oh man.

Ack.. I hope you at least get some good drugs, and get better fast.

Damn, dude. Do you need me to come get you?
You can recuperate at the palatial Traction Control estate for a while. We have hospitals here, too.

Yikes. Pain medication is cheap, pester them until they give you enough to knock it down.

Kidney stone = the closest man gets to having a baby. Feels like trying to pass a jagged watermelon thorough your ureter.
Hope you get well soon!

I’ve had the kidney stones, and they are no fun, wishing you the best

Whichever it turns out to be, get well. And watch out for rattlesnakes – we don’t need you going all Dave Hardy on us.

Hopefully it’s appendicitis. That would hurt less…
November 9th, 2010 at 8:38 am
When my appendix went south on me it didn’t hurt much, I hear kidney stones will bring you to your knees, though.
November 9th, 2010 at 8:52 am
Hope they get it figured out quick and get you back on your feet.
Good luck.

We warned you that there was nothing fun to do in Abilene. Hope you get well soon.

Every time I go to abilene this same thing happens…
