    Was asked last time I stayed. They asked if I needed to use the in room safe for valuables or a firearm. Kinda surprised me they even asked.

    They saw a Tennessee license plate. Seems like reasonable suspicion to me.

    I have been asked similar things at hotels, and always say that I have nothing of any value whatsoever, and that even my laundry is all dirty and smelly.

    I want to discourage any idea these strangers might have that there is anything they might want in my room. Let them find someone else with luggage worth robbing.
