   At my teen daughter’s gymnastic class, the fathers of the girls routinely line the sidewalk window of the gym, watching their daughters flip, fly and twist. My wife calls it the perv lineup.

   As for the stripper pole, such idiocy is why my daughter takes not just gymnastics but also tae kwan do.

   That article is hilarious or horrifying, I can’t tell.

   It has things no father wants said about his kids much less his daughter:

   “Kids love the pole. If anything, it’s hard to get them off it because they’re such naturals.”

   Then there is this juxtaposition:

   “Children have no [erotic] association with the pole whatsoever,” says Morris, arguing that kids would see the same apparatus at a firehall, playground or circus.

   Notably, the only Tantra classes on which there are firm age restrictions are Exotic Dance and Lap Dance, leaving open those with names such as Bellylicious, Sexy Flexy, Pussycat Dawls and Promiscuous Girls.

   Well, why would there be an age limit on a class called Promiscuous Girls?

   And in the clueless column:

   “I challenge anybody who has anything to say about it being a bad thing or a sexual thing or ‘How can you let your child do this?’ to get up on the pole and try to pull their legs over their head.”

   Those professionals who work at the performing arts centers located in most cities near the airport have to learn sometime and somewhere.

   In TX we start our kids young at sports. I guess it’s just early carrer prep so they get to work at the places with the nice poles.

   Now I would be totally on board with my wife taking that class 😉
