He was a great writer, very witty, but more importantly uncompromising in his values: that all humans have a right to defend themselves against violence and that restrictions, dare I say infringement, of this right were tyrannical.

It’ll be a little quieter in here and elsewhere. Sorry to hear that. Never got around to having that whiskey with him.
