   Heh, Ive studied this one to death and come up with only one good answer…….BOTH! the Ar is just too fine a weapon not to have one, it is a sweetheart of a rifle. The AK is a hardcore workhorse and its accuracy is highly under rated. Those things(and others ) being what they are, I had to have both.

    Even if I didn’t like it I probably would have bought an AK clone just because there are peckerwoods out there that would ban them all.
    I do like them, so making those folks uncomfortable is just extra gravy.

    AK ergos blow. So do AK iron sights. So you mount a $600 Aimpoint Micro. Which is awesome!! – but wrecks the claim of the AK being the more affordable rig.

    Despite all that, I wish I hadn’t sold mine.
