OC Update
Some more info on the guy who was open carrying and had his gun taken in a robbery. In Wisconsin, concealed carry is against the law so it’s open or nothing. This may make a case for changing that.

Sadly it might change it Texas-style and ban OC as well.
Nothing like a law where somebody can go to jail for printing or having a shirt ride up on them…

Funny how it seems the concealed crowd would rather see a complete ban than support open carry.

No, Concealed crowd wants to maximize acceptance of CCW as a first priority, then we can talk about OC, not before.

Carry needs to be accepted. Wisconsin is screwed up, but a ban on open carry even with permitted concealed carry is not the way to go.

Problem is oc is already legal so ccw is the one we have to talk about. By the way how many ccw carriers do you think are robbed daily? I bet it is far more than this one occurrence of this open carrier being robbed. The one advantage that open carry has over ccw is that it is open. If I have a choice on who to rob do you think I am going to go rob the guy carrying openly? Or am I going to rob you guys who cannot carry a ccw legally. HMMMM choices choices. In 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time I would choose you the unarmed victim. The vic would have to have some nice platinum otherwise.
