Quote of the Day

Paul Helmke at the Federalist Society Debate (paraphrased):

Alan Gura argues in front of the supreme court. I argue in front of the Supreme Court Building.

How clammy were his dick beaters?

    Better man than me.

  3. Huck Says:

    How limp was his handshake?

  4. Nick Says:

Now you can’t ever run for office.

  5. Joe Huffman Says:

He was well within normal limits on his handshake.

You were right you are a little under dressed… How was the rest of the debate?

    Someone have video?

  8. Rabbit Says:

You’re current on all your immunizations, right?

  9. Nate Says:

While you were a bit under dressed, you managed to still be classier than Helmke. I mean, you aren’t a proponent of denying others their civil rights.

  10. Linoge Says:

Random question: does he always look constipated?

Also, how soon after that picture did he have to… excuse himself… to go wash his hands, lest the stench of freedom get all over him?

I’ve met him, he’s a friendly enough guy. There are plenty of less friendly people on his underpopulated-for-a-reason side of the fence.

  12. Huck Says:

Sebastian, maybe Helmke’s friendly but the thought of even being near him makes my skin crawl. I aint forgotten the fact that he’s been painting us honest Americans who practice our 2nd Ammendment rights as criminals! I dont care how friendly he acts, to me Helmke’s a PoS. Period.

  13. SebastianWho'llGetHisBlogRunningEventually Says:

Well, I didn’t invite him over to dinner. 🙂

I actually did offer to have Pete Hamm for lunch once to have a friendly chat about things, but nothing ever came of it. Back in 2007 they were pretty active in MD because they were targeting a particular state senator and they kept wondering why the only person showing up at their pressers was me. Eventually you get familiar…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
