Heather’s Mommy Has Two Glocks
The Daily Show on open carry. It’s pretty funny, I think. Helmke seemed to play right into the bigotry theme, which some gun rights folks push. And came across as such when he said anyone who carries a gun is not a “normal human being”. I know he was probably playing to the show’s writers, but isn’t dehumanizing, eliminationist rhetoric a classic move from the bigotry playbook?

Paul Helmke is the dumbest man in Indiana politics.
It is a win for Indiana and all gun owners that he is gone and in charge of Brady.

I thought it was pretty funny. I didn’t see that it really portrayed gun owners in a bad light. You have to be able laugh at yourself a little bit. I agree with the others that Helmke comes off looking like an idiot.
