   Pilot Oil gas stores give away a free Knoxville News Sentinel every Friday. Considering the traumatic and dramatic reduction in readership of the only daily paper in Knoxville sent the arrival of progressive editor Jack McElroy these Friday papers are crucial to keeping the paper open. Over a third of the staff has been let go and rumors are soon the paper will go to three days a week.

   The Knoxville News Sentinel has a figurative gun to its head. Support Bill Haslam or die.

   Is it any surprise to see this kind of desperate defense of Mayor Haslam?

   Why has no one filed an election complaint against both the Knoxville News Sentinel and Pilot Oil Corporation? You would think someone is paying attention over at Wamp and Ramsey headquarters.
