CNN: Shooting reported at or near U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.

D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes says a person walked into the museum with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also shot.
ETA: Suspect in custody.

That’s unpossible. It’s a “safe zone” with metal detectors and weapons prohibited stickers.

^^^^There’s probably a middle aged security guard on a power trip to boot. Oh, well that’s the illusion of security I guess.

The security guards were doing their jobs … and one of them got shot while disarming this loon.
Let’s not rag on them. They do their job without government provided immunity to lawsuits.

From the article it would appear he was a prohibited person (and rightfully so, given his previous stunt).
