Reasoned Discoursetm

Say you do a post on guns. You get substantially everything wrong, including gun laws, types of guns, and everything else. Someone advises you of your error. You reply with:

I’ve been harassed by a commentor (sic).
So, I’ve had to pull the story.

And what a story it was. There can be no reasoning with some people.

Note: Believe it or not, there actually is a blog post buried under every annoying blog widget known to Al Gore’s Internets.

    HATERS!

Instead of trying to discuss, I guess it’s just easier to demonize those who disagree with you.

Progressives. Is there anything they can’t hate?

Markie Marxist sez: “Our useful idiots don’t have to be smart, they just have to be useful, even if only kind of, sort of, maybe useful. It’s okay if they fumble, because as long as they’re politically correct according to Marxist values, no harm will come to them. They break the law? No problem! Laws are only valid if they’re politically correct according to Marxist values anyway, so we’ll just sweep it under the rug! ‘Prosecutorial discretion’, ‘inconclusive investigation’, ‘plea bargaining’ – we have lots of ways of seeing to it that the law isn’t the law when we don’t want it to be.”
“Those smarty-pants, know-it-all, freedom lovers on the other hand, are in deep, deep, trouble after this election! They even so much as jaywalk with a CCW on them and they’re looking at an armed felony conviction with hard time! Expired parking meter? When our SWAT team gets done with them, and they get out of the hospital, and then out of jail, they’re going to wish they never saw a parking meter! We’ll teach them not to be good communists! They should instead, draw their inspiration from our new, great leader, President Obamawannagunban!”

Who the heck needs an AK-47? Case in point….Miami

AK-47 assault rifle was developed in 1946 by Michail Kalashnikov,an engineer in the Soviet Union. This assault rifle has been modified in many ways but, remains a very popular item around the world. And guess what….It’s legal to own one in the USA! Not that anyone really needs an assault rifle here.

Here is one example of why AK-47’s are trouble.
Miami police issued a plea for information Saturday after at least one person with an assault rifle opened fire on a crowd of people on a streetcorner Friday night, killing two teens and wounding seven other people. Gangs love these things, not that this crime is necessarily gang-related.

This is rifle that is used primarily by troublemakers around the world, such as hands of terrorist factions such as the Taliban and Al-Quaida. Some say thatthe AK-47 has a reputation in Western nations as a symbol of anti-Americanism. You can purchase one for around $300-800. They are easily accessible on the internet.

Picture: Evidence markers dot the Miami street where nine people were gunned down with an AK-47 Friday night.

But, now there are dead people. Two teens, ages 16 and 18, died in the attack, which broke up a game of craps in front of a grocery store about 9:50 p.m.

Do you want to purchase one of these?
From what I’ve been told, if it is of recent import, it must be converted to semi-automatic.
The AK-47 is manufactured as a fully-automatic weapon, meaning that it is able to fire repeatedly as long as the trigger is pulled back. Before they can be imported and sold in America, they must be modified to shoot only a single bullet with each pull of the trigger.
Before 1986, fully automatic weapons could be manufactured and imported into the USA. There may be some fully automatic AK-47s that were imported before then, and are therefore legal for American citizens to own and shoot.

Getting back to the Miami killings….

Five of the shooting victims were still in the hospital Saturday night, according to CNN affiliate WSVN.

“We need the community to come together, someone come forward and give us a tip,” Miami Police Officer Kenia Alfonso told CNN.

“There are a lot of people in that area. Someone must have seen something, someone must know who could’ve done this horrific crime.”

People told tv station WSVN that a masked man with an AK-47 burst onto the scene and ordered everyone to the ground.

“Boy came round the corner; he was like, ‘Get down,’ and he just started shooting,”

    16-year-old victim told WSVN.

“It was like a war zone,” resident Joan Rutherford told WSVN. “I witnessed this guy laying there with his face, looked like it was completely tore off. His eyes was all I could see, and he had a grip on some money and gasping and trying to lift his head up to say something.”

The Police said that at least one man with an AK-47 “discharged numerous rounds, then ran around the corner. There were some more rounds discharged there from an AK-47 and another weapon.”

“These are weapons of war, and they don’t belong on the streets of Miami or any other street in America,” Mayor Manuel Diaz said.
