My Washington colleague Julia Malone sends word that the National Rifle Association has just endorsed the re-election campaign of U.S. Rep. John Barrow, the Savannah Democrat.
Read this as a significant blow to Barrow?s Republican challenger, John Stone.

This support is good, but as a small business owner I am dismayed by his yea vote on the Employee Freedom of Choice Act.

Is there any indication that John Stone, who called for Congressional Staffers to be randomly drug tested, had any chance to defeat John Barrow?
His fundraising numbers indicated a 1.5 million dollar deficit, and I can’t seem to find any poll numbers for the district.
