I’m also hung like planet Pluto

Hard to see with the naked eye

Yup, that’s me alright:

The NRA and its friends in the “militia movement” are into the same stock-in-trade: Fear. Their target audience: Those people, generally disenfranchised white males with at most a high-school education and middling to piddling income, who suspect they’re being screwed but either have no clue who’s screwing them — or who know but don’t have the guts to fight the real enemy. The NRA and its allies push fear in general, and fear of non-whites in particular, to these white males, telling them that blacks/liberals/Jews/women/unions/etc. (but never ever ever corrupt corporations or businesses) are the cause of the white guys’ problem (and that the problem is crime, not the hyper-rich bleeding everyone below them) — then promptly sell themselves as the solution.

Remember, kids, gun nuts must be racist, violent miscreants with small pee-pees. Else, someone’s worldview is shattered. Say, isn’t Sandy Froman a Joooooooo with no penis? The NRA is sneaky like that.

Disenfranchised. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  2. Phelps Says:

    I LOLed at this part:

You see, while the other lobbyists are trying to use feel-good methods to sell you on their expensive, addictive polluting or otherwise-deadly, and/or actively lobbying to keep viable alternatives from being put into common use, there is one industry lobby that, more than just about any other I can think of, does two evil things at once. It preys on people on the lower rungs of the economic ladder and, instead of helping them to fight their real enemies, plays to their worst instincts — fear and paranoid insecurity in general, and racism in particular — in order to set them against each other for fun and profit.

I speak, of course, of the gun lobby.

I would have sworn she was talking about the Democratic Party.

Reading the comments was interesting; I had no idea that many idiots could perform a circle-jerk simultaneously.

I keep forgetting about Sandy Froman. Probably because I could honestly care less what she thinks about Jesus, she was a good NRA president.

  5. Adam Lawson Says:

I always figured the “gun guys have small wangs” thing was just projection, something most fear mongering idiots do. I can be a jerk, too, though, just like gun grabbers:

If you look at the women associated with guns and gun owners, they don’t look like the type who’d settle for a little chapstick. But if you look at the women associated with gun grabbers, they look like they haven’t been satisfied in a looong time, at least not by anything that doesn’t run on batteries.

Of course, they don’t have an answer for the women who own guns or groups like the Pink Pistols. The latter certainly aren’t a bunch of straight white men — unless the NRA is *really* crafty!

  6. Greg Morris Says:

I personally like little guns just as much as I like big guns. Those cute little NAA revolvers for instance… surely if I had one of them, nobody would accuse me of compensating for having a small penis.

Of course, that gun is too big, this gun is too small, that one is too medium, etc….

  7. Greg Morris Says:

Oh, and my wife, who last time I checked doesn’t need to compensate for anything penis-related, prefers big loud guns, where I’m more inclined to shoot my .380 or my SKS.

The guy forgot to mention the blood-sucking lawyers in his list of lobbyist evil. I wonder why?

  9. Rustmeister Says:

Phelps is dead-on concerning the misuse of the word “disenfranchise”, which means to disfranchise.

    Which in turn means

to deprive (a person) of a right of citizenship, as of the right to vote

Or the right to own a gun.

Never seen a cogent argument come from that site, no reason to think it would start now.

I’ve missed the NRA or gunowners in general saying anything about race, ever. For myself I have decided that there are two kinds of people in the world, those who love freedom and those who are OK being semi-slaves. I like the freedom folks best.

BobG, e-arms are apparently long arms.
I rarely visit leftist blogs, because I get such a sense of unreality (must mean I’m normal). I read all the comments, & now I need to take a shower.
I really loved the question “Does that include military semiautomatic weapons?”
‘Cause the military uses so many semis, y’know. The Barrett, yes; sidearms, sure. Probably one more moonbat who can’t tell semi- from full-auto, “select-fire” being an unknown term.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
