Gee, I dunno. Essentially how I’m reading that is that when you go behind the counter, your job is to lie if lying is what sells guns. I don’t agree with that. I value honesty in a sales clerk. Maybe that’s not true in the gun world.
I see her point about not evangelizing, and maybe even about not volunteering information; but at the same time, if I ask someone for their opinion, I expect to get an honest one, not a sugar-coated one (never mind an explicitly false one).
