Kills rodents without chemicals.

This would also work well on those tunnels under the U.S. – Mexico border.

  2. Asutin Mike Says:

So an explosive mixture of propane and oxygen doesn’t use chemicals? I think you may be a bit confused on the notion of what a chemical is.

That quibble aside, the Rodenator is like, wayyyyyy cool.

  3. SayUncle Says:

Oh yeah, well I can spell my own name 🙂

  4. tgirsch Says:

Also, if this thing is collapsing their burrows, then it’s essentially burying them alive. Better than many of the alternative methods, I’m sure, but I’m not sure you get to call that “humane,” as they do in the ad. “Being buried alive” is not on my list of humane ways to die.

  5. SayUncle Says:

Actually, my guess is they die from their head exiting their asses (the explosion). Of course, neither dying from explosive force, being buried alive, or writhing in agony from poisoning sound, err, humane.

Or there’s the “all natural method” – having a cat (or in the case of moles, a ferret I suppose) play with them until they’re too dead to be any fun anymore.

I like chemical compounds. Nitrocellulose and nitroglycerin. And elements, too. Lead.

Loved the video. Thanks so much for sharing! I showed it to my hubby and he insisted I email a link to my dad.

Definitely not something of which PETA would approve (snicker).

For all of those confused on the effects of the Rodenator….

Propane and oxygen when detonated, has zero residual effects. The result is carbon dioxide (C02) and water (H20).

The Rodenator has gone through comprehensive laboratory testing, as well as studies with universities and the Montana Department of Agriculture to prove the efficacy and safety of the product and process.

In addition to government studies, the Rodenator is the only product that is verified for use in organic applications!

As for the humane issue, it is instantaneous. Poisons cause the animal to suffer for hours or days. Traps…. not good either!

  10. Ogedi Odweko Says:

How do you bury alive an animal the burrows through the ground for a living? A gopher can move 1 ton of dirt in a year abnd since the Rodenator boasts that you do not have to dispose of the body, how do you really know that you have killed them?.. I have miles and miles of catacomb trails and unless the gophers are directly near the blast, I doubt the efficacy of the Rodenator… it might work if you are totally inundated with gophers and you have activity in the burrows selected for blasting, but I think a trap is better since you know what you got… that and a good cat…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
