Rule four

Knoxnews:

An 8-year-old boy was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after he was shot by a neighbor who said he was trying to scare off some dogs, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.

Rule four: Be sure of your target, and what is behind it.

Shooting at dogs isn’t too cool either, regardless of what is behind them.

  2. SayUncle Says:

If the dogs are running loose and unrestrained, they are a nuisance like any other varmint. And can be shot at.

  3. brittney Says:

I prefer calling animal control. Less effort. Less mess.

  4. SayUncle Says:

Depends where you’re at. In rural parts, animal control won’t come every time.

Or if they do come, the semi-wild dog pack is long gone. However, calling animal control still accomplishes one thing: it establishes a record that you are having trouble with loose dogs, which gives you a little legal cover when the neighbor’s pooch comes back and you shoot it.

It’s a shame Brittney would pass on her shotgun in favor of a phone call to animal control.

I wonder if she’d have trouble sleeping the next night after she found out the feral dogs worked their way into a neighbor’s backyard and killed their small child.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
