A sure sign
A sign that I am getting either crazy or crotchety in my old age is that I apparently sound like Pat Buchanan.
Note to self: Self, pummel yourself repeatedly about the head and neck area with a medium sized herring* until this goes away.
* A red one would be nice.

Every now and then, Buchanan says something that isn’t completely insane. Then again, every now and then, even a blind squirrel gets a nut.
Bush is only “right on taxes” if you completely disregard the spending side of the tax equation. A tax cut without a corresponding spending cut isn’t a cut at all — it’s a loan from our children. (“Think of the Children!(tm)”)
And if you agree with Buchanan on judges and values, I can hardly imagine you calling yourself even a small-l libertarian.
