If you’re a news person doing a story, please do some research. And spelling helps too: The law is due to expire on September 13th and will outlaw weapons like AK-47’s and oozies. I hope they mean Uzis.

I think Tam makes a fair point here about gun guys being a little too anal retentive when it comes to the press’ sloppy coverage. But there is a difference between reading the slide of a gun and making up the AK-15. Or the Oozie. Those are clearly mockable.

Once again, the dreaded Oozie makes an appearance. Another sighting here. One more and it’s a spate.
