After the Gun Salesman of the Century left office, folks thought gun sales would drop. However, they continue to remain near record levels.

NICS checks increased a bit over March of last year, reports NSSF, marking the first month of 2017 where that has happened.

February 2017 was the third highest month for NICS checks.

Obama was first. But if you read the press you’d think liberals were arming themselves in droves because of Trump. Which they may be. Good for them. But I’ve seen this story now about four different times.

Under Obama, NICS checks went up 60%. MRC says gun sales went up by 60%. That number is most likely higher due to lawful gun sales that aren’t required to go through the NICS.

2016 smashed previous gun sales records. That’s just using NICS numbers. Transfers not involving NICS reportedly are one in five gun sales. But they keep telling me gun ownership is on the decline.
