Kent Williams on Guns
After all the hubbub yesterday regarding the shenanigans in the Tennessee House, Williams gets his interview on:
Q: You said some bills bottled up for years will come to the floor? Will that include the abortion resolution?
Williams: Yes. Abolutely, that’ll be the No. 1 priority. That will come to the floor, I can assure you of that.
Q: What else?
Williams: Some of the gun bills that have been killed over the years. There won’t be any committees loaded down to kill legislation. That’s not going to happen.
Q: So who’s in control, Republicans or Democrats?
Williams: Republicans are in control. 50 to 49.
Doesn’t sound too much like a Naifeh puppet if you ask me. Naifeh was the one killing all the pro-gun bills.

Will one of the gun bills be one requiring a gun license? Because in 2006 he said he was for that. Maybe he was lying about that too.

And if you look at the other questions on that survey you’ll note that he doesn’t indicate support for concealed carry.
