On Lugo
Chris Lugo’s nonsense is making the rounds (here, here and here). Curt wonders why we TN bloggers aren’t covering it.
Lugo is kind of a joke. Even our local progressives are tired of him astroturing all the open progressive forums (say, is that a crosspost?); newsgroups; gmail groups; and local boards with his peace, love and dope.
Like your embarrassing aunt who gets hammered at all the family functions, you just kinda look the other way after a while.

In all fairness, if Lugo were spreading dope everywhere and not his talk of legalizing dope, his stock would rise considerably among us lefties.

Chris Lugo is running for Senate? Meaning he meets the constitutional requirement of being at least 35 years old?
Jeez, from his posts at Knoxviews I always hid him figured for a histrionic, twenty-something Kool-Aid drinker. I guess I was wrong about him being twenty-something.

OK, I just realized he’s running for state Senate. Still, from the picture he looks old enough to have less-naive political opinions.
