Rubble don’t make trouble

Ya know, if hard core metal bands (since we’re talking about metal) decided our foreign policy, the world might be a better place.

Even a nothing threat, deserves a response you won’t soon forget

Kids today. It’s like they’re neocons or something!

Here’s the vid.

Update: probably explains why dude don’t host Empty Vee’s Headbanger’s Ball no more?

I do so wish people wouldn’t say “neocon.” A better word would be Neo-Jacobin. That is, busy-bodies who go halfway ’round the planet to impose Parliamentary Democracy on evverbody, whether they want it or not, whether it’t good for them or not, whether it’s good for us that we do that, or not.

Y’ know, back in the first part of the 19th Century, we used to say that America was a friend of Liberty everywhere, but the guardian only of our own liberty.

On the topic (?) of right-wingish heavy metal lyrics, not to be forgotten is Metallica’s Don’t Tread on Me., and Creeping Death.

And, in a similar vein, didn’t Rush (not really metal, though) do a song about how the atomic bombing of Japan was a good thing?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
