Not only that but it is perfectly legal to consume alcohol products while doing so, too. I've had my CHL for over to 10 years and have never heard of any problems as a result of this. If I were the reporter, the followup question of the "not a good thing" comment would have been: "so how much trouble have you had in the past since it is currently legal to carry here?"
