Picked up my 556 a few weeks ago and, while I haven’t had much time or spare money around to shoot it much, I’m a huge fan.

I will agree with Ben that the trigger leaves a little to be desired out-of-the-box (mine’s not TOO bad, but has a lot more takeup than I’d like), but generally, the rifle’s awesome.

One thing I WAS pleasantly surprised with is how decent the flip-up reserve sights are.

Now I just need some money for a bulk order of ammo, . . .

They should have titled that post “The SIG Sauer 556 Redefines Sucky Triggers.”

I got to shoot one at the range last month and I thought the trigger sucked compared to even my bone stock AR trigger. The other funny thing was that the guy shooting it was a gun-noob with a super duded-out SIG with all the bells and whistles. Had a real-nice eotech sight on it too. Couldn’t hit anything and was busy adjusting the eotech after every shot.

He let me have a go, which was neat, but man I sure didn’t like the trigger.
