Sorry to read that, Sir. Why, if you and guys like you sat on him for a while, I betcha he wouldn’t be more than 4 or 5 inches thick from front to back, and thereby safe from most of the more dangerous effects of being shot by modern infantry rifles.

Hey, the bullets don’t start to tumble until they’ve already gone further through yer tummy than that!

We’re doing you a favor here, Uncle, by squashing you flat! All you have to do, is stand up squarely, to anyone shooting at you!

Oh, yeah, JoA, that’s a shame yer not there. Even if *I* were there, I suspect I’m smaller and lighter than Uncle, so I’d prolly have to jump up and down on him to have any noticeable effect.
