Basically, it is designed to put a bunch of lead downrange, at people. But it is important to note that the weapon description specifically mentions that it is intended for less than accurate targeting of each round. (Or something like that.) Enter the conflict - under what circumstances would a police department need a tool that could cause indiscriminate destruction like that? When would they need a weapon for 'crowd suppression'? I can appreciate (and fully support) the need for 3 round burst. But fully auto? No f-ing way. Not in the hands of a civilian officer to be used in an urban environment. Period.
