WMA is an audio format; are you trying to save the file to a recordable CD? Try saving it as a computer file and select the best resolution.

I haven't gotten off my dead ass to install or use it yet, but AutoGK came highly recommended to me when I was <strike>whining</strike> commenting on a similar situation a few months back.

Well, if you're interested in simply losing file size or getting a separate format, Super (C) (scroll all the way down for links) do pretty much any level of conversion or file handling you're likely to need.

If you're more interested in having data saved directly to another format... well, right now the only freeware software that I'm aware of that wouldn't require a Linux install is AVID, and that only does quicktime well, which probably just makes the problem worse. Sorry, Saysuncle.

Something to download and try:

All-Video Converter $29.00

http://www.zealotsoft.net/

All Video Converter is a small and effective solution for video file conversion. It supports: AVI to MPEG1, MPEG2, DVD, VCD, and SVCD; and all media formats to DivX (MPEG4) and AVI,PAL-to-NTSC conversion and vice versa are also included, You can change the codec/System type between them including PAL NTSC, Divx cinpeak,as well as support for streaming media (WMV/ASF). An easy-to-use interface allows you to enjoy working with video files without frequently consulting reference materials. The function of AVI or MPEG to WMV and ASF needs "Windows Media Format 9 Series Runtime".
